Second Generation Student
We recently had a student finish our program that was a second generation student. Cooper Smith a Hampton Park Christian School student pictured below passed his road test recently. His mom Michelle also pictured below is a former student of our founder James Collins.
Auto-Safe has been in business since 1989 and is locally owned and operated and now has been serving two generations of drivers to make our upstate roads safer.
New Location for Classroom
Our location for classroom has changed. We are now conducting classes at the Cambria Hotel at 135 Carolina Point Parkway Greenville, SC 29607.

Commercial Teacher of the Year: Lance Collins
We are pleased to announce that Lance Collins was awarded the 2020 Commercial Teacher of the Year award by the American Automobile Association (AAA) Carolinas and the South Carolina Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association (SCDTSEA). Lance has been a teacher at Auto-Safe since 2003. He has taught classroom since 2003 and is certified to teach AAA’s Driver Improvement Program. He has taught behind the wheel since 2005. He became the main classroom teacher in 2012 at the retirement of his father James and has been doing testing since 2013. He became an owner of Auto-Safe in 2018 and is Vice President handling educational, testing, and fleet operations.

DUI-E Legislation Fox Carolina Story
Our own Lance Collins was recently featured on Fox Carolina 10PM News. The story was dealing with legislation sponsored by Rep. Bill Taylor. to make it illegal to hold a cell phone while driving with steeper fines than have been introduced before. Here is the link.
Auto-Safe Properties
Today is a milestone for Auto-Safe. We started a new business called Auto-Safe Properties LLC and acquired the property where we have been leasing from Chaplain Ministries. We are so thankful for the opportunity to lease from the chaplains and the relationship we have developed with them. Acquiring the property was not in our plans, but we are thankful for the opportunity and how will open up more opportunities for Auto-Safe in the future.
