Behind the wheel lessons

$140 for each 2 hour Behind the Wheel Lesson ($70 per hour)

Behind-the-wheel instruction is done in two-hour sessions, three-hour sessions, or a one hour session if it is attached to the road test. The student would meet at one of our test locations. We teach any student at any skill level. The instructor will track the student's progress on our Student Progress Report. In addition we normally can begin working with students quickly at no extra charge. Most students can be scheduled within a week’s time.

The programs for behind the wheel and test only are the following: One Hour and Test for $140. This is for those who only need a small amount of practice on the parallel parking and similar skills. Two hours of Behind the Wheel Standard Program for $140. This is for those who need some practice on everyday driving skills as well as parallel parking and similar skills. Four hours of behind the Wheel Platinum Program for $280. This is for those who need a moderate amount of practice on all skills. Six Hours of Behind the Wheel Ultimate Program for $420. This is for those who need a good amount of practice on all skills. It is $70 an hour for additional behind the wheel lessons and only $480 to add the classroom and get insurance discount till you are 25 or three years. To promote focused, no-distractions training, only the instructor and student are in the car. During this course the instructor teaches the student skills needed to pass the road test, skills to be a defensive driver, skills to successfully recover a car which has veered onto the shoulder (one of the common ways teens die in accidents), skills needed to navigate interstate on and off ramps, and experience driving on the interstate (for students who have reached this level of competency).  Our instructors never do anything to make students feel uncomfortable, and all are professional driving instructors.

We will start by determining the student's present driving abilities and work from there to teach the skills needed not only to pass the road test, but also to be a safe, defensive driver. There is no need for the student to lock into a specific number of lessons. They can start where they are and take only as many lessons as needed. We will meet the student at our office. We also offer the Road Test for an additional fee.
